November 5, 2019, Kelowna, BC Twirling Umbrellas is proud to support local online fundraising startup Trellis, in launching Sprout—an exciting Okanagan-wide charity challenge.

Twirling Umbrellas developed the Sprout brand identity and creative campaign into an innovative way to encourage champions to support their favourite charities.

Rebecca Alfred, Marketing Lead at Trellis, explains Sprout a Fundraiser. “Everybody has a cause they care about, and with the Sprout a Fundraiser challenge, we are encouraging individual and business champions to raise money for the causes they care about for a chance to win an extra $10,000 for their chosen organization.”

The campaign hopes to raise $100,000 in the Okanagan through champion events before February 2020.

To help achieve this goal, Twirling Umbrellas developed a custom website that’s easy to navigate and showcases the people behind the brand. Twirling Umbrellas also created a lively, whimsical voice and aesthetic for Trellis. It amplifies that their platform is the place to go to raise funds for charities.

Our experience working with Twirling Umbrellas on our Trellis brand refresh and Sprout a Fundraiser branding was exceptional

Rebecca Alfred, Marketing Lead at Trellis

Alfred shares. “The team at Twirling continually brought forward fresh and innovative ideas, bringing our vision to life for our new brand and website. They were professional, efficient, and creative with their approach.”

Since launching Sprout, more than 18 individual and business champions have joined, eager to start fundraising. These champions have already raised more than $15,000 and the number continues to grow.
